Mitch Kapor
Kapor's funding and credibility turned the EFF from an idea into an institution able to litigate on behalf of hackers and researchers.
Mitchell Kapor is an American entrepreneur and investor. He founded Lotus Development Corporation in 1982; its spreadsheet Lotus 1-2-3, released in 1983, became the defining application of the IBM PC era. He left Lotus in 1986.
